SORAINEN business breakfast "Manage Your risks in international transport!" on last Thursday organised together with Swedish, Finnish, Spanish and Danish Chambers of Commerce was attended by close to 60 company representatives, who thoroughly enjoyed the main presenter Miquel Roca sharing his views on why Rotterdam Rules, the new regime in international sea transport, is necessary to increase the stability of world trade - spiced up with humour and true Spanish charm!

Further SORAINEN lawyers Urmas Volens, Andrus Kattel and Laurynas Lukošiūnas gave an overview about differences in transporter liability with different types of transport, shared practical examples about cargo disputes and presented a case study about largest maritime accident in the Baltics in recent years - fire on the ferry Lisco Gloria. The event ended with the discussion, where Schenker's director of flight and container carriage division Kristo Vrager shared his view on practical problems from the view point of logistics service provider, and Selver's head of logistics Allar Kahju responded by giving the overview about expectations from the client's side.
