The newly elected DECC council had its first meeting with new cast on May 8th. The council meeting took place at Cafe Lyon as a 1,5h breakfast meeting, during which a new chairman, new vice-chairman were elected, discussion points also included FICE status and re-considering the membership, and the topic of Nordic CSR conference.

Main points:

- Marco Iovino was elected as the new chairman of DECC council for term 2014/2015, whereas he also introduced his vision for the organization. The vision forsees the chairman to be the first among equals and to continue implementation of the strategy agreed upon with previous council 2013/2014.

- Søren Hejnfeld was elected to be the vice-chairman of the DECC council for term 2014/2015.

- FICE - DECC will continue to be a member of the organization and assist change in the organization that needs to be more transparent and tangible to the chambers' members.

- Nordic CSR conference - an initiative of Marianne Bruhn, council member of the DECC to organize a high-level, top-notch Nordic CSR conference on September 23, 2014. The project's total budget is 12.100€ lacks money, whereas most of the finance would be given by the Innovation Norway/Norwegian Embassy. The DECC is expected to assist in finding financing for the project in the sum of 1.000€.

Next council meeting will take place on June 2, 2014.
