For the 5th time, a traditional Nordic chambers’ joint Estonian Independence Day’s celebration took place last Thursday, February 20th. This time we had an honor to be invited and hosted by the Finnish Embassy. The Finnish Ambassador, H.E. Aleksi Härkönen held a speech in Estonian about the tight relations and cooperation opportunities within the Nordic region. We should though never forget the value of having our own nation states even if members of the European community.

With approximately 100 guests, the event carried yet another invaluable task – sharing contacts and networking amongst the members of the different Nordic chambers – Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce, Finnish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce, Norwegian-Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Estonia.

We thank our host, H.E. Aleksi Härkönen, the Finnish Embassy, and the Finnish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce for organizing this year’s reception!
