Luncheon meeting with Jan Palmer - Feb 6, 2014
Our dear partner Holland Business Club organised a luncheon meeting with Jan Palmer, CEO of the Estonian Air since the end of 2012. The event took place at the residence of the Dutch ambassador, Mr Jos Schellaars.
Jan Palmer is a person with great personality and with excellent presentation skills, everyone could recognize that from the very first moment when taking the floor for his presentation. The presentation gave a good overview of Jan’s past and experience in the field of aviation and change management, as well as the overview of Estonian Air’s wellbeing. Through explaining the sustainability goals and measurements taken to bring the company up from the under-earth with restructruing the company (50% cut of the company is definately not an easy job!), divestments and chaning the mindset of employees everyone could understand that at this point the company is reliable and looking ahead for better future.
