Nordic networking event at Tallinn Music Week - March 17, 2015
Connecting Entrepreneurship and Music was the subtitle of our Nordic networking event with the Tallinn Music Week organizer Helen Sildna at Nordic Hotel Forum on Tuesday, March 17.
"Tallinn Music Week started in 2009, it has developed to one of the biggest indoor festivals in the Nordic-Baltic region. Without business partners connecting entrepreneurship with music, this wouldn't have been possible to achieve", said Helen Sildna, Head of Tallinn Music Week.
"This year, the festival is presented by Nordea and among our other partners I can mention EMT, Elion, Nordic Hotel Forum, Tallink and Volvo", continued Helen Sildna. "We expect to bring together some 800 music industry players this year and the artist line-up presents more than 200 Estonian and international acts from a wide range of musical genres. Thanks to the Danish Music Export we’re enjoying a Danish year at Tallinn Music Week. We expect nearly 20.000 music lovers this year as audience.”
“Tallinn Music Week serves as an effective networking platform for the music industry as well as the cooperating businesses, and it is of course also a springboard for emerging acts around the world to get noticed by international and local talent-spotters and media”, concluded Helen Sildna.
The Nordic networking event included also a live performance of the Estonian neo-folk music band Trad.Attack! that performed exclusively for us. and that was indeed appreciated by all of us who participated this nice and inspiring evening.
Nordic chambers networking event was arranged in cooperation with Nordic Hotel Forum, the Swedish, Finnish and Danish Chambers of Commerce in Estonia, and Tallinn Music Week. We thanks for all cooperation partners for an inspiring and enjoyable event! Special thanks to Kaire Papp from SCCE for her initiative and arrangements.
