Study tour to Denmark - Jan 22-24, 2014
From January 22-24, Danish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Harju Entrepreneurship and Development Consultancy organized a metal processing companies study tour to Denmark. Estonian company representatives visited their industry counterparts in Sjaelland, Fyn and Jutland and received a good overview of the industry in Denmark. It seemed that the topical issues for the sector's representatives were astonishigly similar for both sides - expenses involved with running the industry, logistics and quality.

In addition to the visited companies, there was a set meeting & discussion with the Estonian honorary consul Mr Bo Staermose, who provoked Estonian companies to be much more active on the Danish market; with the Estonian ambassador to Denmark, Mrs Katrin Kivi who left a positive and potentially prosperous impression on Estonian-Danish trade relations; with the 3rd secretary at the embassy, Mrs Maiga Võsu who gave an indepth description of the Danish working culture and business mentality; and with the EAS Trade Advisor Lucie Neoralova with whom immidiate partner search discussions were initiated.
