The DECC Annual General Assembly continues its focus on Estonian infrastructure. Expanding from last year’s discussion of Rail Baltic, we include industry and policy experts to give their opinions on Estonia’s infrastructure, dichotomizing the discussion on the road as well as the air. Come and hear from Mr Eero Pärgmäe what the Estonian government expects of the Estonian infrastructure in the future. Also receive an overview of the previous 24 months of Rail Baltic media discourse by ETA Monitooring. Lastly we open the floor for a balanced panel discussion panel. Invitations for participation have been sent to also Jan Palmer (CEO of Estonian Air - confirmed), Eero Pärgmäe (Deputy Secretary General for Transport at Estonian Ministry of Economy and Communications - confirmed), Tõnis Tamme (Partner, Attorney-at-law in Triniti AB - confirmed) that should allow all perspectives and interests to be heard.

E67, known as Via Baltic between Tallinn and Warcaw has a distance of 970km today has ordinary road, but is planned to be turned into a motorway. Rail Baltic, one of the priority projects of European Union: Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) is supposed to link Finland, Baltic countries and Poland to improve the connection between Northen and Central Europe. Both projects are in the air for the region. What are the developments of these projects? Do we have to choose or will Estonian budget have the possibility to co-finance both? What comes first? What comes next? Lots of questions, yet no answers.
The seminar discussion is open to the public at a fee of only 30€ per non-member. Participation is free of charge for a DECC member (one person per company), but additional tickets can be bought. Only a limited number of tickets will be sold, so ensure registering early by sending an e-mail to info@decc.ee. Registration for both events is already open via weblink here.
