Nordic Open 2013 "Cross-border Expansion"
Description
We are once again glad to invite all our members, friends and fans to join us at the business and networking conference Nordic Open.
The conference’s target group is SME’s from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania who want to enter the Scandinavian market with their products and services. Several of them have probably already tried, some have been more successful than others, many have failed or haven’t dared to even try. Our aim is to give pragmatic know-how on different aspects on how to set off your business in Scandinavia. The conference has approved to be of interest to approx 500 participants.
This year the conference is organized for the 4th year and the Nordic Open 2013 carries a subtitle "Cross-border Expansion" and we have a slight bias on Denmark. We have invited speakers from Denmark to talk about how companies could and should make alliances in order to succeed in foreign markets. In addition, Estonian Business School will share their knowledge on business model revision prior to entering new markets and we have a presentation on distant management and experience from Rimi (ICA). We have also invited Estonian companies' representatives to talk about their experience in expansion and share their know-how on company expansion. These finely selected speakers are eager to share their knowledge and answer your questions.
This year’s conference takes place at swissôtel in the center of Tallinn. Registration is open. Please fill in the registration sheet. DECC members enjoy a discounted participation fee till the end of the registration term. Find out more from the conference's official website www.nordicopen.org Further information, questions and requests are kindly asked to be sent by e-mail to merli.lindberg@decc.ee
Take a look at the program and a short video taken at one of our conferences. Decide latest on Monday, May 13.
