Traditional football challenge: Den vs Swe
Description
For the 4th time, the Danish and Swedish chamber members will compete in football. Traditionally we have played on the football ground at Arigato Sports Club. Why should we change the tradition? We are not. Also this year, we invite all healthy, sporty, handsome men to chase the ball for the honor of the nation's flag, and all support forces next to the field to cheer at the side of the stadium. All team members are welcome to practice all through the summer at Arigato Sports Club that is opened every weekday from 8 in the morning till 9 in the evening!
The captain of the Danish team in 2012 is Marius Damgaard, who has the contact details of everyone who took part of the International Chambers' Football Tournament in May 2012. In case you'd like to get involved with a bunch of happy guys and play football with them, please contact Marius by e-mail mariusdamgaard@hotmail.com
Brief history of the football challenge
Tradition was started in 2009, when the Danes invited the Swedes to play. All players enjoyed the activity and it was agreed that we should continue organizing the challenge. Out of this mere Saturday in 2009, we took up the idea of also organizing the pan-chambers football tournament each spring in the end of May that we first realized in 2010 as the International Chambers' of Commerce Football Tournament.
Since 2009, the Danes and Swedes have shared the fun of just play and a relaxing dinner after that on a Saturday in September.
