Financial support is requested by 4th IMC World Forum on Music taking place in Tallinn from 26 September to 2 October 2011. The Forum participants will consist ofIMC members,invited speakers and presenters (from the world of music, but also from governments, intergovernmental organizations, development agencies, foundations, and the business sector), a broad audience of people from all aspects of music, representatives of Estonian music organizations, music students and musicians from Estonia. Moreover, the some 30 different Forum sessions will be made available as live streams and podcasts on the Internet, which will ensure an unprecedented outreach for the Forum with a potential of thousands of web-audience in 150 countries around the world.

Denmark is also involved with the World Forum of Music. Danish Music Council is a member of IMC and the current Treasurer of IMC is a Danish musician and conductor Lars Grunth. Additionally, a good number of our 30 international and European music organizations have affiliates in Denmark that are likely to attend the Tallinn Forum.
