"More funding to make your dreams come true"

Our speakers will give an overview what kind of funding possibilities are out there, give you specific introductions on where to turn to and from whom to ask for assistance when needed. Do not drop your good idea - find new fans for your idea and find resources to make it come true.

 

Grete Kodi from the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Tallinn introduces the mobility program for business and industry, where the priority is given to projects involving innovation, sustainability, exchange of experience and is meant for the small and medium size companies. 50 projects got funded by this grant in 2010 including 12 projects from Estonia, over 2 mln Danish krona was given out.

 

Grete has over 10 years of experience in promoting Nordic-Estonian ties. She initiates and implements joint projects in business and creative economy  fields, and is the contact person for the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Program for business and industry.

 

Kristjan Tiik from EAS introduces the innovation support program that grants R&D projects for small and medium-size companies to develop new and/or innovative products that need testing, development consultations, etc. The grants are from 4.000-16.000 € per project and presume cooperation with universities, development centers.

Kristjan has graduated from Estonian Business School, managed a technology-based service company over 6 years and consulted companies on technology and innvation development the last 7 years.

 

Tarvo Tamm representing Connect Estonia will broaden your view even more - there's not only public funds available, but there's much more available. What are the alternative funding sources? Whom to turn to? Whom to ask help from?

Tarvo has long-term experience in combining the experience of private companies with growth companies, which wish to attract an investor or receive assistance upon creation of a development strategy. 

 

The event will be held in English. Participation for DECC members 19 € including breakfast. Non-members 27 €.  Please note that a fee of 50 € will be charged for no-shows and cancellations made 20 hours or less prior to the event.
